During my entire research activity I have dealt with different aspects, from hardware to software. I took part in the development, construction and installation of the whole TOF detector. I took part in the development of the first prototypes of MRPC ever built in Italy. I coordinated and supervised the production teams and I had the responsibility of the quality control tests developing, as TOF Detector Control System (DCS) expert, projects and applications in LabVIEW and in WinCC environments to control and monitor all the TOF operational parameters.
Form 2016 to 2017 I was the System Run Coordinator of the silicon microvertex detector (Inner Tracking System, ITS) of ALICE; I had full responsibility for the correct operation and the quality of the data collected by the ITS detector, I coordinated all maintenance activities and hardware and software developments on the system.
Since 2012 I'm involved in the analysis of heavy-quark production at LHC. In particular, I'm actively working on the study of the Λc charmed baryon in the proton + K0S decay channel in pp, p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC.
