I am a biogeochemist with primary research interests in climatic regulation of peatland function and extent and of biogenic trace gas emissions from peatlands. My broader interest is on greenhouse gas balance and integrity of carbon stores. I am currently involved in a NERC-funded project entitled “Peatlands and the global carbon cycle during the past millennium: an assessment using observations and models”.
