Bio
As a research associate (University of Bath), my current research focuses on the development of an infection responsive catheter coating to reduce biofilm formation and reduce subsequent catheter blockage.
My PhD (Manchester Metropolitan University) combined microbiology and electrochemistry to develop and optimise P. aeruginosa microbial fuel cells. The addition of graphene as a 3D-Printed electrode material and a focus on the biochemical pathways utilised enhanced power outputs.
