Dr. Desai was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Arizona where her clinical research looked at healthcare disparities in liver disease and quality of healthcare. She joined Indiana University’s School of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in July 2018. Her goal is to improve outcomes in patients with liver disease through improved healthcare delivery through her research and her own clinical practice which will focus on patients with cirrhosis and chronic liver disease.
