Dr. Cesaro does research in cardiology with a focus on the management of patients with acute and chronic coronary syndrome undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. He has a specific interest in lipid-lowering therapies and anti-thrombotic pharmacotherapies. His research activity also involves genetic dyslipidemias with a particular interest in familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH and HoFH) and new therapeutic strategies.
