Brendan Dolan

I am currently working with the Mucin Biology Group at Gothenburg University. Mucosal surfaces are found at the interface between us and the outside world. Mucus provides the first line of defence at this key barrier site. Much of the cell biology underlying mucosal biology is poorly understood. My research focuses on understanding the combined role of both mucus producing and non-mucus producing cells in both the establishment of and physiological function these mucus barriers.
