I love my work especially for the translational aspect of it between technical development and clinical applications. Multiple Sclerosis is the main neurological disease of my applied research, but I have also been involved in trying to understand the neurological consequences of SARS-CoV-2 infection and in particular of long COVID. I believe in the role of MRI in understanding brain microstructure and function, especially when merged with realistic models of neuronal morphology and activity.
