During this time she developed a keen interest in applying quantitative, computational methods to understand inflammation and immune cells dynamics. As a Junior Faculty member her program (supported by a prestigious Scientist Development Grant from the American Heart Association) is focused on developing quantitative imaging-based metrics of atherosclerotic plaque permeability, inflammation and immune cell trafficking in mice with cardiovascular disease.
