I am specialized in functional anatomy and zooarchaeology, and I am particularly interested in the evolution of the relationships between canids and humans through time. My research aims to explore the interrelationships between the external shape of the bones, muscle architecture and other parameters (sex, captivity, urbanism) in modern canids. The results are applied to remains from the European Neolithic or to inform selection practices pertaining to canid mummification in ancient Egypt.
