He has published >480 articles (Scopus), has >24.000 citations, H index 71 (Google Scholar), is/was member of the Editorial Board and reviewer of many prestigious medical journals, including LANCET-Respiratory Medicine, CHEST, RESPIRATION, BMC series, etc., and Editor-in-chief of the official journal of the Hellenic Thoracic Society Pneumon. Member of the ATS/ERS/JRS/ALAT committee for the idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) official guidelines (2011 and 2018 and the 2021 revision) and the ATS/ERS new classification of idiopathic interstitial pneumonias (IIPs) (2013).
