Research Interests My academic interests link large-scale cell, tissue and human, biomimetic, tissue-engineered in vitro disease model profiling with computational and systems biology to optimize drug discovery and diagnostics. I am also developing computational tools to identify and quantify heterogeneity. As the Director of the Drug Institute, I am focusing our efforts in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology in order to change the paradigm in drug discovery, development and diagnostics.
