Daouda Ndiaye

I have over ten years of direct laboratory experience including malaria parasite sampling, DNA extraction, sequencing, genotyping and cloning in multiple settings. I have also supervised a hospital laboratory complex which included clinical and research labs. In this role, I directed the establishment of the first molecular biology lab in the national hospital of Niamey, Niger. Over the past couple of years my work has focused on clinical trial support where I assisted in monitoring drug trials. I have a Doctoral degree in pharmacy and a Master of Science in physical and chemical analyzes and quality management of food and health products. I also have been trained in bacteriology, parasitology and virology. I’m well acquainted with the GLP, GCP and laboratory standards. I'm currently a parasitology and mycology PhD candidate and a project research manager at the Laboratoire de Parasitologie-Mycologie (LPM)/International Center for Research and Training on Applied Genomics and Health Surveillance (CIGASS) in Dakar, SENEGAL.
