I am a public health physician whose research focuses on environmental causes of human disease. I study persistent chemicals such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), pesticides like DDT, brominated flame retardants and perfluorinated compounds. I also study the health effects resulting from excessive exposure to electromagnetic fields, and the effects on brain and behavior of both several metals and organics.
