As an oncologist my fields of interest are: 1) the relationship between suppression/malfunction of apoptosis in tumor transformation and acquisition/maintenance of the drug-resistant phenotype; 2) the identification and characterization of novel potential marker of drug resistance, whose targeting may be exploited to overcome the drug-resistant phenotype in colon carcinomas and other types of cancer; 3) the characterization of p65BTK and understanding its role in solid cancers
