Graduated in Chemistry from the University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, 2005). Holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UFSC (CAPES Concept 7) in the field of physical organic chemistry. Postdoctoral held at the Federal University of Paraná (2011) in the area of nanomaterials carbon derived and their functionalization. Received in 2018 the PhosAgro/UNESCO/IUPAC Green Chemistry for Life Research Award in Thailand and in 2016 the International Rising Talents award from L'Oreal-UNESCO (Paris) and in 2015 the L'Oréal-UNESCO-ABC Award for Women in Science. In 2012, he received the CAPES Grand Prize of Thesis Milton Santos (Area: Exact and Earth Sciences and Multidisciplinary, Materials and Biotechnology). Since 2012, she has been Regional Secretary of Paraná of the Brazilian Chemical Society. Since 2012, is Associate Professor, in the Department of Chemistry at the Federal University of Paraná, where she leads the research group Group fo Catalysis and Kinetics. The main interests have been: (i) degradation and monitoring of pesticides and chemical warfare simmulants; (ii) chemistry of organophosphates and chemical security; (iii) development of nanocatalysts, artificial enzymes, biocatalysts and sustainable catalysts derived from waste; (iv) functionalization of nanomaterials; (v) generation of hydrogen and (vi) construction of simple and cheap sensors.
