Eric Rowell

Eric Rowell is currently an Assistant Research Professor at the Desert Research Institute. His research interests include intersection of technology and fire for improved understanding of fire effects, processes, and the role that fuels play in multiple-use wildland and prescribed fire. Working across a range of landscapes, he employs wide array of fine-scale remote sensing and statistical modeling to investigate roles of fire and plant interactions and the role of fuels inputs for computational fluid dynamics-based fire behavior models.
