After the master thesis in physics at the University of Turin (Italy) in 2001 with Prof. W. Alberico on the Nambu Jona-Lasinio model (a quark model that allows to study symmetry breaking), I moved to Tuebingen (Germany), where I worked on the scalar glueball (that is a bound state of gluons only) under the supervision of Prof. A. Faessler and Prof. Th. Gutsche (PhD thesis defended in 2005, main work Phys.Rev.D 72 (2005) 094006 [arXiv: hep-ph/0509247]). Between 2006-2014 I worked at the Goethe University of Frankfurt (Germany) in the group of Prof. D. H. Rischke on chiral models in the vacuum and at nonzero temperature and densities (e.g. Phys.Rev.D 87 (2013) 1, 014011 [arXiv: 1208.0585], Phys.Rev.D 90 (2014) 11, 114005 [arXiv: 1408.4921], Nucl.Phys.A 933 (2015) 34-42) [arXiv: 1312.3244]. In Frankfurt I participated in the supervision and co-supervision of bachelor, master, and PhD students. (It is also worth to mention a cooperation with Dr. R. Hofmann in Heidelberg, where I also stayed in 2006.) Besides QCD related topics, in those years I started to work on fundamentals of Quantum Mechanics, especially on the decay law (I regard the study of the multiple decay law as one of my most important achievements: Found.Phys. 42 (2012) 1262-1299 [arXiv: 1110.5923], and recently Phys.Lett.B 831 (2022) 137200) [ arXiv: 2108.07838]. Among various didactical activities, the seminar on interpretation of QM initiated in 2009 has been especially important (and is ongoing in various forms up to now, for an overview see Quanta 2014 3 156-170 [arXiv: 1406.2344]). I obtained the habilitation degree in 2013. In 2014 I moved to the Jan Kochanowski University (JKU) in Kielce (Poland) as associate professor, where I continued my work on (exotic) hadrons (e.g. Phys.Rev.C 92 (2015) 3, 034905 [arXiv: 1506.01260], Phys.Rev.D 97 (2018) 9, 091901 [arXiv: 1709.07454]) and quantum mechanics (e.g. Zeno and the neutron, Phys.Rev.D 101 (2020) 5, 056003 [arXiv: 1906.10024]). In 2020 I became full professor. Besides research, I m currently (status 2023) the head of the high energy physics department and the director of the Doctoral School of the JKU.
