I'm a Brazilian biologist and journalist and I hold a PhD in Ecology from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain. Currently I am a professor and researcher at the Graduate Program in Geography at UFR (Universidade Federal de Rondonopolis), Brazil. My research aims to understand how human factors influence the biodiversity of cities, and how urban ecology can be applied in planning, management and in the conservation of tropical urban biodiversity.
