Work: Teaching Assistant at Departamento de Engenharia Informática e de Sistemas, Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra. Research: Ph.D. Student at Informatics Department, Artificial Intelligence Group My research interests include: Genetic Algorithms, Artificial Life and Complex Adaptive Systems. The main objective of my research is to study the interactions between learning and evolution in artificial life environments. I intend to study the behaviour of the evolving individuals using Lamarckian learning and the Baldwin Effect, in order to determine how they perform with different strategies for learning.
