Gabriella Agazie

Most of my past work has been focused on noise reduction in pulsar timing array models, including dealing with effects of the interstellar medium (ISM) on radio wave propagation (scintillation and scattering), investigating non-standard emissions (giant pulses), and dealing with extreme ISM events (screening, turbulence). This work is specifically done in conjunction with members of NANOGrav and the International Pulsar Timing Array, as well as my current advisor, Dr. Natalia Lewandowksa. Currently, I am working to develop an introductory software package that will help bridge the gap for young astronomers hoping to enter ISM and scintillation fields.
