I am a bioinfomatician with an emphasis on tuberculosis research. I obtained my PhD in molecular biology, but I have always performed the computational analyses for the research projects of which I was a part. In this way I was involved in the early bioinformatics of DNA sequencing and gene interpretation. In addition to "omics" bioinformatics, I also performed statistical and statistical genetic analyses.
