Bio

My research addresses a variety of issues including movement patterns, habitat use and trophic ecology of several shark species. Since 2016, I am carrying out a research project in Djibouti (Africa) focusing on the whale shark ecology. An important part of my research is also related to the ecotoxicology of sharks and aims to evaluate their contamination status and how marine pollutants are transferred along the food chain.
