Bio
Glen White received the M.S. degree in physics from Sheffield University, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Lancaster University, in 2000. After holding research positions at Oxford University and Queen Mary University of London, he joined the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) as a Staff Scientist, in 2004. He is currently the Lead Scientist at SLAC, where his work has led extreme compression of electron and positron bunches and opened up the possibility of nC beam of sub-micron bunch lengths.
