Dr. Hollweg obtained his Bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) in 2016. He also holds a master's and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from UFSM, obtained in 2019 and 2021, respectively. His main research topics are: Adaptive Control Theory, Applications of Control, Optimization Algorithms and Control Applied in Power Electronics. Currently, he is a Research Fellow and Adjunct Lecturer at University of Michigan (UofM), Dearborn, USA. Moreover, he is also an IEEE member and reviewer of several journals in IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, among others.
