Ian Coombes currently works as the Director of Pharmacy Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Queensland Government. Ian is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pharmacy at School of Pharmacy University of Queensland. Ian undertakes and supervises research in Clinical Pharmacy practice, medication safety and workforce development in Australia and is one of the leaders of the Collaborative of Australian and Sri Lankans for Pharmacy Practice Education and Research which is developing the evidence base for the need for and benefits of a capable clinical pharmacy workforce in Sri Lankan Government hospitals.
