Irene Feroce

Irene Feroce is EBMG Registerd Genetic Counselor of Cancer Prevention and Genetics at IEO (European Institute of Oncology). She graduated in Nursing in 1993 at the ACISMOM School in San Donato Milanese and got the Master Digree in Clinical Researc in 2006 at the University of Milano. She started as Research Nurse at IEO in 2003. In 2014 she reaches the role of Genetic Counselor at the ESGH – EBMG branch. From 2018 to 2021, she served as a teacher for the University of Milan's undergraduate nursing program He received his counseling diploma in 2013 and a master's degree in ayurvedic medicine in 2018. In 2008, she performed an educational internship for Genetic Counseling at the - Cancer Risk and Prevention Department - Dana Farber Institute -Boston-MA She deals with individuals, families to try to help them understand their cancer risk and how to help them promote health. Irene is a member of national/international Scientific Societies (e.g. AIFET, SIGU, ESHG, EBMG) and past AIGeCo President (Associazione Italiana Genetic Counselor) . In 2014 she received the “Bruno Martinetto” Prize for Chemoprevention.
