My research focuses on investigation of the properties QGP (Quark-Gluon Plasma), a new state of matter created under extreme conditions of temperature, density, and pressure - conditions similar to those shortly after the Big Bang that may have created it about 13.7 billion years ago.
The heavy-ion collisions at ultra-relativistic energies is a unique experimental method to study QGP in the laboratory as currently being provided by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, which is the forefront particle accelerator for the next two decades.
