He is responsable to the cardiac stimulation area and its research focuses on Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy and Physiological Stimulation. In 2014, received the extraordinary doctorate award for his thesis about the Cardiac Resyncronization Therapy in patients with Heart Failure. Member of the research group Biopathology and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias of the Institut dInvestigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS). Researcher of the group CB16/11/00354 of CIBERCV, Instituto de Salud Carlos III. He has Principal Investigator at the Hospital Clínic of several competitive grants from public and private institutions, also he take part in national and international multicenter studies about cardiac pacing. His research track has about than 200 original articles in indexed journals.
