Jane Eithne Doherty

I was a South African health systems and policy researcher with 30 years' experience. I had a particular interest in health financing, human resource planning and production, and capacity-building for research and leadership. All my research was informed by the need to strengthen equitable health systems in low- and middle-income countries. Recently I changed direction to follow an old passion, the conservation of birdlife and bird habitat.
