I currently work on the development of breast cancer patient-derived xenograft (PDX) and cell line models to study the differential roles of progesterone receptor (PR) signaling in breast cancer growth and proliferation. I am interested in elucidating the mechanisms behind PR-mediated suppression of ERa-dependent growth in luminal breast cancers. I have recently discovered a novel interaction between PR and RNA Polymerase III in our PDX models.
