Her current research aims to probing long-range magnetic order in materials with rich magnetic phase diagrams and structural ordering in other systems with large scale spacings in one or more dimensions using SANS and related techniques. Her service to the scientific community includes being on an organizing committee for GMAG focus sessions at the 2021 APS March meeting and serving on editorial boards for Frontiers in Physics: Condensed Matter and IEEE Magnetic Letters. She has also served as a member at large for the Women in Neutron Sciences (WiNS) committee at ORNL and has been a contributor to the ORNL/Argonne Neutron Xray school for 5 years. She is the current Communication Secretary for the Neutron Scattering Society of America.
