His research interests include acute stroke care, endovascular techniques and the intracranial collateral circulation. He is the section editor for Interventional Neuroradiology, and is on the editorial board of several journals including American Journal of Neuroradiology and BMC Neurology. He has published over 140 peer reviewed articles. In his spare time, he is an avid computer gamer and volunteers at the healthserve clinics. He wonders why alien civilizations haven’t yet tapped on his superior starfighter piloting skills to save the universe.
