My main research interest is clinical prediction modelling for multicenter studies. Clinical prediction models are mathematical tools that assist doctors in making a diagnosis or prognosis. I develop methods to built and evaluate such models on datasets to which multiple hospitals have contributed data. More specifically, I investigate variable selection, sample size requirements, performance measures and measures of clinical utility.
