The most important divisions of this center are: a) a network of cancer genetic outpatient clinics covering almost entire country and b) cancer bio-bank with biological samples and clinical data from 135,000 of cancer cases and appropriate controls including registries of thousands of mutation carriers such as a registry of 3,500 of BRCA1 carriers. He is also the national consultant for clinical genetics in Poland since 1998.
J. Lubinski is an author of around 200 papers on clinical and molecular genetics of cancers and author and coordinator of a few EU projects. J. Lubinski is an editor of a journal published under auspices of UICC – “Hereditary Cancer in Clinical Practice”. In 2005 he got the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of Riga Stradins University, Riga, Latvia. Since 2006 he is a Board Member of European Society of Human Genetics.
