I am Associate Professor III of the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) with PhD in Food Science from the Federal University of Lavras (2005) and postdoctoral degree from RIKILT (Institute of Food Security - University of Wageningen / The Netherlands). Head of the Department of Food Science at UFLA. Founder and Curator of the Collection of Microorganisms of the Department of Food Sciences of UFLA. Member of the Executive Board of the Latin American Federation of Cultural Collections (FELACC: 2018-2020). Leader of the Research Group: Mycotoxins and Food Mycology. Project Coordinator at PROTAX - Taxonomy Training Program / CNPq (2015-2018). Advisor in the postgraduate programs in Food Science and Agricultural Microbiology of UFLA.
