Maria Lopopolo

I am a PhD Student within the Microbial Paleogenomics Unit at the Institut Pasteur, Paris. My interest is to study human populations of the past and their adaptation to lifestyles, environments and pathogens to understand the impact on the immune system and genetic variation. Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford. Here, I explored different types of NGS technologies and their application on cancer genomics, transcriptomics and epigenetics.
