I am a clinical academic cardiologist running a dedicated clinical research group that uses state of the art cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy techniques to investigate the role of altered cardiac metabolism across the spectrum of myocardial dysfunction from subclinical diastolic dysfunction to overt clinical heart failure. I have >15 years experience in trial design, development of regulatory documentation, supervision, execution, presentation, statistics and publication of non-IMP and IMP clinical trials. I am also a consultant cardiologist with acute, outpatient and inpatient responsibilities within the Oxford University Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust.
