Dr. Schlosser's research focuses on molecular epidemiology in the form of population-based biomedical science including statistical genetics/genomics and big data. His scientific aims include the identification of new biomarkers of disease, understanding the underlying causal mechanisms and developing the methods enabling the former two. Studying DNA variation, DNA methylation, gene expression, metabolomics, proteomics and across omics data types he contributed especially to our understanding of kidney disease.
