The Sondel Laboratory pursues basic, preclinical and clinical mechanisms to induce in vivo activated innate immune effector cells to provide anti-tumor benefit.
I have led scientific policy through multiple roles at the National Institutes of Health, the American Cancer Society, the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), the National Cancer Institute and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Dr. Paul Sondel is the Reed and Carolee Walker Professor of Pediatric Oncology. He leads a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive and compassionate, state-of-the-art treatment for childhood cancer and hematology patients. His research is focused on inducing in vivo activated innate immune effector cells to provide anti-tumor benefit.
