Pavel Kopel is a Professor at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Palacky University in Olomouc. Previously he was employed at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Faculty of Agronomy, Mendel University in Brno, and as a Senior Researcher at Central European Institute of Technology, Brno, Czech Republic. He is an author or co-author of 175 ISI-indexed papers with h-index of 30 and a holder of three patents. His research is mainly focused on the synthesis and characterization of organic and coordination compounds and nanomaterials for imaging, separation, remediation, electrode modification, therapeutics, and drug delivery.
