I am a deeply motivated scientist committed in pursuing an academic career, studying population dynamics of migratory species and its influence on the conservation of compositional, structural and functional biodiversity. My model is birds and I realized early on that studying migration requires good international links, as species span over large geographical distribution ranges, as well as, access to novel technologies that allow tracking movement and combining it with physiological ecology.
