Pietro Milillo (SM'12) joined the radar science and engineering section at JPL since March 2016. He has a PhD in Environmental Engineering at University of Basilicata, Potenza (Italy) with a thesis on the synergistic use of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) constellations for studying natural and anthropogenic phenomena. Pietro started his study in Physics in 2008 at University of Bari (Italy), graduating his BSc (2010) and MSc (2012) in Physics and applied Physics respectively. During the period 2013–2015 he was a visiting student at the California Institute of Technology Seismological laboratory and a Visiting Student Researcher at JPL in the Earth Science and technology division. His main interest are: Syntehtic aperture radar applications, InSAR, multi-temporal analysis, Cryospere, Natural Hazards, Earth Science.
