Despite recently retiring from his formal position at the university, he remains research active. From 2014-2019 he was part-time Medical Director for the global independent medical education provider, prIME Oncology™ and now works with ACE Oncology developing and delivering both live and on-line educational programmes for oncologists and other providers of cancer care.
Professor Coleman is a past-president of the Cancer and Bone Society and the founding editor of “Journal of Bone Oncology”. He has published over 460 peer reviewed manuscripts and numerous book chapters. He is also a trustee for both Weston Park Cancer Charity and the water charity, Taste as well as Chair of Governors at Clifford All Saints Primary School.
