Sonja I. Schlachter

Sonja Schlachter was born in Mannheim, Germany, in 1972. She received the Diploma degree in physics and the Ph.D. degree titled “Tc-changes of R1-yCayBa2Cu3Ox under high pressure: Influence of doping and structure,” both from University of Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1997 and 2002, respectively. In 2001, she joined the “Superconductors and Structure Materials” Group, Institute for Technical Physics, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe, Germany, and later became the Leader of the “Conductor Development and Special Applications” Group.
