He specializes in coronary artery disease and imaging of the heart, especially echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Kaul has spent many years caring for patients, teaching and mentoring other cardiologists and doing research. His work has been published in many medical and scientific journals, and he has served as an editor and reviewer for other heart researchers’ projects and grants. He was awarded the outstanding Investigator award of the American Federation of Clinical Research, the Distinguished Scientist Award of the American College of Cardiology and the James B. Herrick Award of the American Heart Association.
