She has over 15 years of experience in development of acquisition sequences and analysis software tools for clinical and translational magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) applications. A large focus of her work has been to investigate dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI and diffusion-weighted MRI for improved detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. She actively participates in national radiology organizations and cooperative groups including the American College of Radiology Imaging Network (ACRIN) and Radiological Society of North America Quantitative Imaging Biomarker Alliance (QIBA). She currently serves as chair and co-chair on two NCI-funded multi-center clinical trials evaluating the utility of diffusion-weighted MRI of the breast (ACRIN 6702 and 6698).
