Serge Pelissier

Serge Pelissier was born in 1963. He did his schooling from Ecole Normale Supèrieure de Cachan, Cachan, France, and received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Institut National Polytechnique Grenoble, Grenoble, France, in 1990. He passed the agrègation of Electrical Engineering in 1986. He was first an Associate Professor and then a Professor with the University of St. Etienne. His research focused on optical instrumentation, integrated optics as well as didactics of physics. In 2007, he joined the Laboratory Transports and Environment at INRETS (IFSTTAR since 2011), Bron, France, where he is in charge of the energy storage studies. Since 2013, he has been the Head of the Laboratory Transports and Environment, IFSTTAR. His work focuses on modeling, characterization, and aging of batteries in automotive applications.
