Stuart Mcmuldroch

Stuart McMuldroch received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in planetary science from the California Institute of Technology. His work focuses on technology and system development of detectors and cameras for large scale missions. He previously worked as the managing director and cofounder of an award winning infrared imaging company, managing the development of unique thermal infrared imaging system and formerly serving as the program manager for a$10 million infrared detector packaging program building sensor chip assemblies for JWST. He currently is leading a$30 million program building the telescope for GOES-R weather satellites and also serves as the program manager for the High Energy Astrophysics Division at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory.
