Bio
I joined King’s College London in 2017 where I work within the Centre for Implementation Science, Health Service and Population Research Department. Here my role and responsibilities are focused on the design and delivery of hybrid studies which evaluate effectiveness as well as implementation of interventions in healthcare settings. I work in collaboration with the NIHR ARC Diabetes Research Team and the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre.
In addition, I work on quality improvements in cancer multidisciplinary teams in collaboration with a range of stakeholders outside of King’s College London, such as Cancer Alliance Network, NHS England and NHS Improvement, Public Health England, Roche Diagnostics, and East Carolina University School of Medicine.
My doctoral research focused on decision-making and communication in cancer multidisciplinary teams by utilising methods and approaches from cognitive, communication and team sciences.
My expertise is in research design, mixed research methodology (quant and quali) and applied healthcare research that includes various stakeholders and spans a range of conditions, including cancer, diabetes, mental health, speech impediments, and neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., Williams syndrome, Down syndrome, but also, dementia and stroke).
