Turkan Haliloglu

She is a Professor in Chemical Engineering Department and Director of Polymer Research Center at Bogazici University. She received her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering Department from Bogazici University in 1992. She joined the research group of Prof. W. Mattice as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Polymer Science at the University of Akron in 1992-1993. She had been in the field of polymer science in early years of her career and later her focus shifted to biomolecular science. She has developed novel computational approaches to carry out structure based dynamic analysis on both synthetic and biomolecular systems to search for the structure-dynamics, property/function paradigm.
